Position Overview

The Engineer II, Manufacturing plays a pivotal role in enhancing production processes and ensuring operational excellence within ICU Medical. This position is tasked with developing a thorough understanding of manufacturing workflows, contributing to process optimization, ensuring quality control, and delivering insightful analytics to stakeholders. The Engineer will also support system enhancements, troubleshooting, and various technical projects as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and manage project plans for manufacturing systems and integrated processes.

· Act as the primary technical expert and Super User for designated manufacturing applications and processes.

· Create and present custom reports for internal stakeholders, including production metrics and dashboards for various manufacturing activities.

· Provide ongoing support, including diagnosing and resolving system issues, unexpected outcomes, or process inefficiencies. Propose solutions and alternative methods to align with business objectives based on system capabilities.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead system-related projects and initiatives, including new releases, adoption of new functionalities, and configuration changes.

· Investigate and implement system enhancements to minimize errors, boost efficiency, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

· Troubleshoot issues related to integrations and data flows.

· Develop training materials and user guides for operational staff.

· Provide support for ongoing and annual manufacturing initiatives, including quality assurance, process improvement, and compliance training.

· Conduct regular audits of data for quality, accuracy, and usability to maintain the integrity of core systems and reporting.

· Engage in special projects as they arise.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Strong analytical skills to comprehend system functionalities and interfaces.

· Proficient in advanced Excel and other reporting tools, with a proven ability to analyze data effectively.

· Excellent project management capabilities, with a focus on translating business needs into technical specifications.

· Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage competing priorities.

· High attention to detail and comfort with complex datasets.

· Solid understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, and IT processes and their interdependencies.

· Self-motivated and innovative problem solver.

Education and Experience

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

· Minimum of four (4) years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related fields.

· Prior experience with manufacturing systems and integrated modules is required.

Minimum Qualifications

· Must be at least 18 years of age.

Travel Requirements

· Typically requires minimal travel, less than 5% of the time.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

· This role is primarily sedentary.

· The position operates in a professional office environment and routinely utilizes standard office equipment.

Salary Range: $89,200-$109,112.50

The salary range displayed represents the annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. The actual salary may vary based on various factors, including relevant experience, skills, education, and geographic location.
