Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Trusted Resource Associates (TRA). As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by physicians, utilizing your expertise to handle complex cases and teach and mentor others.

Job Summary:

This is a travel Respiratory Therapist position that requires a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in an acute care setting and possess certifications such as American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, NRP (Peds Specialty RT), and PALS.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform all types of Respiratory Care, including diagnostic testing, treadmills, complete PFTs, ABG machine maintenance, hemodynamics, special procedures, and ENGs.
  • Provide respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by physicians.
  • Expert proficiency level required with the ability to handle complex cases and teach and mentor others.

Requirements:
  • Associates Degree from an accredited program in Respiratory Care recognized by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care.
  • Bachelors Degree from a CoARC accredited program (preferred).
  • 2 years of experience in an Acute Care Setting.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • State License as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • American Heart Association BLS.
  • ACLS, NRP (Peds Specialty RT), and PALS.
