Job Summary

Versiti Inc. is seeking a skilled Mobile Donor Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Mobile Donor Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for performing phlebotomy collections of whole blood and apheresis products, interacting with donors and coordinators, and providing exceptional customer service to deliver an excellent donation experience.

Responsibilities
  • Perform phlebotomy collections of whole blood and apheresis products
  • Interact with donors and coordinators to provide a high level of customer service
  • Operate the mobile drive vehicle and transport staff in a safe and efficient manner
  • Conduct donor screening, mini-physicals, and phlebotomy
  • Observe donors for reactions and provide reaction care as needed
  • Conduct automation, including recognizing and responding to automation reactions
  • Rebook donors for future donation appointments
  • Understand and perform to all applicable regulatory and compliance requirements
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required
  • 1-3 years relevant people-facing experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license with prior driving experience
  • Knowledge of standardized work routines and methods
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules and operating instructions
  • Basic mathematical aptitude and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to learn and utilize computer applications, including Ceridian and Hemasphere

  • $17/hr+ based on experience

Work Schedule

Must have availability from 4:00am-10:00pm, including weekends and holidays. Schedules are posted 2-3 weeks in advance. Hours are determined by blood drive schedule.
