Job Title: Substitute Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Substitute Nurse to join our team at Walton County School District. As a Substitute Nurse, you will be responsible for providing medical care and support to students in our schools.

Responsibilities:

* Provide medical care and support to students in our schools
* Administer medications and perform first aid as needed
* Follow school and system policies and procedures
* Maintain accurate records of student medical information
* Collaborate with school staff to ensure student safety and well-being

Requirements:

* RN or LPN licensure
* Current First Aid and CPR certification
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods

Physical Demands:

* Significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling
* Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling
* Significant fine finger dexterity

Work Environment:

* Work in a school setting with occasional exposure to outside weather conditions
* May require standing for long periods and walking between classrooms

Education/Training:

* Current First Aid and CPR certification

Clearances:

* Criminal Background Check

FLSA Status:

* Exempt or Non-Exempt (depends on type of substitute position)

Salary Information:

* Salary will be determined based on experience and qualifications
