In this role, you will conduct radiographic procedures with a high degree of technical skill. A solid understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology is essential, as you will apply ionizing radiation for precise radiologic assessments. You will be expected to demonstrate initiative and creativity while working with minimal oversight. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostic portable imaging for patients in their residences, home care environments, or client facilities.
• Conduct X-ray examinations on patients, adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Ensure patient comfort and cooperation throughout the imaging process.
• Accurately position patients to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
• Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver accurate and timely diagnostic information.
Qualifications:
• Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist
• Proficient in performing X-ray procedures with precision and efficiency
• Familiarity with reading imaging in an EMR system
• Strong understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• BLS Certification (preferred)
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Valid driver's license
License/Certification:
• ARRT Certification (required)
