Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Execution: Manage projects according to Project Management Professional (PMP) principles, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Client Management: Identify opportunities for growth and development through good client management and consulting skills.
  • Project Coordination: Lead and participate in client needs assessments, creating high-level project summaries and deliverables lists.
  • Contingency Planning: Develop contingency plans, identify prospective team members, and screen vendors.
  • Administrative Tasks: Ensure key administrative tasks are completed, finalize project team members and vendors, and define team roles and responsibilities.
  • Process Development: Provide guidance and approval on process and specifications documents, define and create supporting project management tools.
Executing and Monitoring:
  • Project Kickoffs: Conduct project kickoffs, manage work according to plan, and meet with team members weekly to ensure good morale.
  • Client Communication: Meet with clients weekly or bi-weekly, ensure project documentation is maintained in a timely manner, and monitor chargeability.
  • Financial Management: Ensure timely and accurate billing, report on budget and schedule variances, and review WIP in Juris.
Close and Transition:
  • Project Closure: Deliver or transition final products, obtain informal client feedback, and document project summaries and lessons learned.
  • Resource Management: Close out resources and archive documentation, ensuring a smooth transition to the next project.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: At least three years of experience as a PM or Senior level role.
  • Certification: Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to define efficient approaches to data collection, management, and analysis that ensure quality.
  • Communication: Design and present clear, concise, complete, and correct summaries of information/analysis.
  • Leadership: Demonstrate excellence in project management, aptitude for business development, and willingness to contribute to employee development and training.
