Job Summary

As a Dentist in our Dental Hygiene Clinic, you will provide dental services to patients while meeting budgetary revenue and expense expectations. You will also train and supervise student dental assistant externs, oversee radiographic prescriptions, and provide student oversight and clinical evaluation. Additionally, you will collaborate with Clinic Assistant, Clinical Director, and Program Director to ensure the smooth operation of the dental clinic.

Responsibilities

Provide dental services to patients
Meet budgetary revenue and expense expectations
Train and supervise student dental assistant externs
Oversee radiographic prescriptions
Provide student oversight and clinical evaluation
Collaborate with Clinic Assistant, Clinical Director, and Program Director

Requirements

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution
Current knowledge of the specific subjects taught
Licensed or certified by the appropriate agencies as a dentist
Three (3) years experience as a dentist preferred
Must hold current dental licenses, certifications, or other designations as required by local, state, or federal laws to work in the field
Knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, and dental computer software
Any equivalent combination of training, education, or experience that meets the minimum qualifications
