Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire skills to perform timely and accurate preventative maintenance.
- Assist experienced field engineers with equipment installations.
- Collaborate with seasoned engineers on basic troubleshooting and service repairs for designated equipment.
- Communicate effectively and partner with team members and colleagues.
- Engage with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to enhanced customer satisfaction.
- Work alongside customers to recommend value-added services that improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain up-to-date administrative responsibilities, including customer service logs and internal service records, timely ordering of repair parts, and managing cycle times.
- Utilize the escalation process as necessary and collaborate with regional and national support to define and implement corrective action plans for timely resolution of customer issues.
- Act as a member of the account community for key accounts.
- Engage with commercial counterparts to identify potential sales leads, participate in contract renewals, and assist in promoting revenue programs.
- Focus on customer needs and satisfaction while enhancing the relationship with customers to become a valued partner in their business.
- Stay informed about competitor activities and market trends.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or a High School Diploma/GED with 4 or more years of experience in servicing electronic equipment.
- Proficiency with web applications and the Microsoft suite of products.
- Compliance with standard background checks, including a post-offer drug test, and adherence to customer access policies during employment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted, with frequent bending, stooping, twisting, climbing, crouching, kneeling, sitting, and standing for extended periods.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
- Willingness to be available for after-hours support or work a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends, for critical issues.
Desired Qualifications:
- Willingness to travel up to 35%, which may include overnight stays.
