Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with project leaders, designers, and architects to develop detailed cost plans.
- Evaluate specifications and blueprints to produce precise cost estimates.
- Consider all expenses, factoring in supply chain issues and market fluctuations.
- Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive bids and procurement.
- Oversee project budgets and implement necessary adjustments to ensure profitability.
- Generate financial reports and forecasts for management, emphasizing cost-saving strategies.
- Assist in the creation of cost estimation tools to enhance efficiency.
- Advise project teams on budgeting, cost management, and financial strategies.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, trades, and clients.
- Align cost plans with organizational objectives and revenue goals.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
- Proficient in Buildertrend, Microsoft Office, and estimating software.
- Ability to analyze drawings and specifications, producing accurate estimates and proposals.
- Maintain client relationships and pricing databases effectively.
- Collaborate with architects and stakeholders; lead preconstruction activities.
- Estimate costs for new projects and change orders.
- Strong mathematical and analytical abilities, with a minimum of 3 years of experience on job sites.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.
- Reliable transportation and eligibility to work in the U.S.
