Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our APC Wound Care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the comfort and well-being of our patients. Under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, you will perform nursing care and assist with planning and implementing care to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in patient assessments by determining nursing care needs based on relevant data.
  • Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, communicating with the healthcare team as needed.
  • Implement the identified plan of care, ensuring tasks are completed and patient progress is documented.
  • Organize workload and prioritize responsibilities to ensure quality patient care is delivered efficiently.
  • Stay up-to-date with current nursing practices and perform only those skills within your scope of practice.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing.
  • Current LPN licensure or temporary license as a licensed practical nurse petitioner.
  • BLS certification per policy guidelines.
Physical Requirements

This role requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, bending, pushing, and pulling. You must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds when handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies. You must have intact senses of sight, hearing, smell, and touch, finger dexterity, critical thinking, and the ability to concentrate.
