Sales Associate

As a Sales Associate on our Internet Sales Team, you will play a critical role in supporting our online sales team and assisting all divisions with email and phone leads overflow. Your primary goal will be to support Internet Sales Managers across the company, while your secondary goal is to discover the needs of potential buyers, schedule appointments at preferred markets, and transition leads to appointments.
Duties and Responsibilities- Respond timely to all routed calls, using problem-solving, customer service, and communication skills to excite potential buyers.
- Ask appropriate questions to understand and uncover buyer preferences, seeking out additional prospect information to assist in determining appropriate product, pricing, time frame, and location.
- Build relationships with potential buyers via both phone and email, staying up-to-date with knowledge of each market, homes, communities, benefits, and M/I Homes' product features to deliver accurate and educational information.
- Enter and manage leads in CRM database, follow up on initial contact, schedule appointments with New Home Consultant for meetings with potential homebuyers, and/or perform handoff to local Internet Sales Manager.
- Provide feedback on lead quality, objections, and market demands, tracking call activity, handoff, and appointment conversions.
- Participate in ongoing training, including weekly team calls, monthly training, one-on-one coaching, and other relevant activities.
- Associate's degree or 2 years of online sales/customer service experience.
- Decisiveness and good judgment, problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Positive, empathetic, and supportive attitude, with excellent verbal and written communication skills for daily high interaction with potential buyers.
- Ability to interpret, analyze, and evaluate given information to determine the best option for potential buyers.
- Self-motivated with persuasive, enthusiastic, and customer-service-oriented personality, with good organizational skills and detail-oriented aptitude.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing, online sales process, and customer management database.
- Ability to work independently from home, with bilingualism preferred.
