Chief Technologist, Imaging Services

Job Summary:
This role is responsible for supervising staff and area functions, as well as serving as a liaison for physicians. The ideal candidate will have experience in imaging procedures and management responsibilities, including hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management, and staff productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, staff, direct, and control the day-to-day operations of the department.
- Develop and implement policies and programs as necessary.
- Maintain a quality assurance program according to regulations established by regulatory bodies.
- Assure completion of all required documentation for quality control and equipment maintenance.
- Implement and educate staff on all imaging institute policies, procedures, guidelines, and quality initiatives for interventional imaging modality.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree.
- ~Vascular Interventional Radiography Certification and Registration (VI) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- ~ Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- ~ Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
