Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to join our team in the Parks and Outdoor Recreation department at College of the Canyons. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in our Forestry and Natural Resources program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and develop curriculum for Forestry and Natural Resources courses
  • Develop and implement effective teaching methods to engage students
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide committees and activities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement program initiatives
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Forestry or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in teaching and/or professional experience in Forestry or a related field
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
