Key Responsibilities
  • Activity Planning and Implementation: Assist in planning and coordinating a variety of activities, events, and programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents.
  • Resident Engagement: Promote resident participation in activities and events, and encourage socialization and interaction among residents.
  • Program Development: Assist in developing and implementing new activity programs and services that meet the changing needs of our residents.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments, including nursing, dietary, and housekeeping, to ensure seamless delivery of services and activities.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of activity participation, resident feedback, and program evaluation.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience working with seniors, preferably in a retirement community or senior living setting.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong organizational and time management skills; ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Certifications and Training: Valid First Aid Certification required.
