Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Monitor to join our team. As a Security Monitor, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our facility and residents. This is a critical role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the security and safety of the facility and residents at all times.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the facility to monitor resident activity and identify potential security risks.
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, security breaches, and other relevant information.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a safe and secure environment for all residents and staff.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of general work experience preferred.
  • Sufficient organizational skills to keep the workflow on-going in an orderly manner.
  • Ability to express thoughts logically, in both written and verbal form using correct grammar.
  • Demonstrated flexibility in order to perform a wide range of duties.
  • Ability to interact effectively with others and learn supervisory techniques.
  • Ability to maintain positive relations with staff and residents.
  • Ability to motivate and create an atmosphere of enthusiasm toward work ethic.
  • Ability to work with computers and the applicable software typically used by the facility.
