Security Dispatcher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Dispatcher to join our team at Wind Crest by Erickson Senior Living. As a Security Dispatcher, you will be responsible for dispatching emergency and routine calls for service, developing relationships with residents and visitors, and providing exceptional customer service and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

* Dispatch emergency and routine calls for service
* Develop relationships with residents and visitors
* Provide personalized customer service and hospitality
* Monitor the Emergency Call System for independent living
* Track the status of residents involved in emergency situations

Requirements:

* High school diploma or GED required
* Prior experience in 911 call-taking/dispatching or Emergency Medical Services (preferred)
* Ability to maintain composure, deal calmly with emergencies and ambiguity, and to learn quickly when facing new problems
* Ability to communicate calmly with Residents, visitors, and all levels of staff; act in a reassuring manner and adept at diplomacy and tact while displaying good judgment
