Job Summary and Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:
Preferred one year of experience in Medical/Surgical/Telemetry nursing.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
Demonstrated skills in organization, verbal and written communication, customer service, mathematics, analysis, reading comprehension, following instructions, and basic computer usage.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Florida RN license required or appropriate compact licensure. If holding a compact license, an active Florida RN license is required within 90 days of hire. BLS certification is necessary, and ACLS certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
