Job Title: Division Director of Gynecologic Oncology

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Division Director of Gynecologic Oncology to lead our academic, clinical, and educational programs for the Gynecologic Oncology Faculty of the Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a multi-year plan that aligns with the Departmental, College of Medicine, and the Medical Center's strategic vision, goals, and directives.
  • Lead and manage the daily challenges of a large, distributed clinical Division, ensuring customer service, patient care, and patient quality and safety initiatives are met.
  • Ensure coverage for all Division clinical activities at all clinical sites, including call and emergency coverage.
  • Develop and implement educational and instructional opportunities for all levels of trainees, ensuring Division faculty meet educational program objectives.
  • Ensure quality, timely, consistent communication on key issues through regular communication channels.
  • Promote faculty development through timely, consistent, frequent customized plans and reviews, and appropriately manage performance issues.
  • Ensure division faculty comply with all Department/Institutional regulatory and policy requirements.
Requirements:
  • Board Certified in OB/GYN and Gynecologic Oncology.
  • NY State Medical License.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in a similar academic medical center setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead change and implement new initiatives.
  • Committed to social justice for underserved communities.

  • Competitive salary of $400,000-500,000.
