Mountaire Farms is seeking a highly skilled Water Treatment Specialist to join our team. As a Water Treatment Specialist, you will be responsible for the operation of our water treatment system, ensuring the highest quality water for our operations.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Operate and maintain the water treatment system, including pumps, valves, and other equipment.
  • Assist with compliance documentation and recordkeeping, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Maintain water equipment and wells, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Perform process control lab work, analyzing water samples and making adjustments as necessary.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements, including personal protective equipment (PPE), preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, lockout-tagout procedures, and process safety management related matters.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Active Water Operator license with 3 endorsements.
  • At least 5 years of acceptable operating experience.

**Certification and Training**

  • Recertify every 2 years with completion of 20 hours of approved training within that timeframe.
