Position Overview

We are in search of a seasoned and proficient Lead Project Engineer to spearhead the technical advancement and execution of our cutting-edge PFAS Solutions with the Komline-Sanderson team. This pivotal position entails designing and supervising the engineering components of the project, ensuring that the treatment solution adheres to the highest benchmarks of performance, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Direct the design and engineering of the PFAS Treatment System, integrating advanced membrane technologies.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including process, mechanical, and electrical engineering, manufacturing, end-users, and stakeholders, to ensure cohesive integration and alignment.
  • Identify and implement PFAS remediation polishing techniques, such as advanced oxidation processes and adsorption methods, into the membrane treatment process.
  • Create comprehensive technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for the treatment system and its components.
  • Oversee and coordinate pilot testing activities, evaluate results, and make necessary adjustments to enhance the treatment process.
  • Ensure adherence to pertinent industry standards, regulations, and best practices throughout the design and implementation stages.
  • Provide technical direction and support to the project team, addressing intricate engineering challenges and proposing innovative solutions.
  • Continuously assess and enhance the treatment process, executing improvements and modifications as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering roles, with a strong emphasis on membrane technologies, product development, pilot testing, and system design.
  • Demonstrated expertise in PFAS remediation techniques, water treatment processes, and environmental engineering principles.
  • Experience in project management, capable of leading a diverse team.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to translate complex technical requirements into actionable solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in engineering design software and project management tools.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain operations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
