Key Responsibilities:
  • Meal preparation, serving, and cleanup
  • Light housekeeping duties (client bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen)
  • Laundry assistance (washer/dryer)
  • Changing bed linens and making beds
  • Assisting with showers (twice a week)
  • Helping with dressing and undressing
  • Providing standby assistance for safety
  • Offering companionship and supervision for client activities
  • Assisting with mobility (walking, wheelchair, cane)
  • Grocery shopping
  • Supporting transfers from wheelchair
  • Ability to walk with assistance
Qualifications:
  • Enjoyment of one-on-one interactions and eagerness to learn new skills
  • Physical capability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable daily transportation
  • Compassionate and supportive demeanor
  • Availability for varying shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care
  • Commitment to enforcing health and safety standards
  • Supportive and empathetic nature
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; experience as a caregiver, CNA, or completion of a CNA program
  • Pride in delivering high-quality care
  • Experience with Hoyer lifts (specific to client needs)
