Your Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for clients
  • Process payments, assess loads, and uphold safety standards by enforcing regulations
  • Primarily sedentary role with some standing and walking; occasional lifting of items up to 20 pounds

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in operating scale and point of sale systems
  • Accurate documentation of weights, application of rates, collection of fees, and issuance of receipts
  • Adherence to landfill compliance regulations
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the scale house
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent organizational abilities and time management skills
  • Demonstrated initiative, logical reasoning, and sound judgment
  • Professional customer service aptitude
  • Flexibility to work overtime, varying shifts, weekends, and holidays
