Polysomnographer Specialist

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Polysomnographer to join our team in Bryan, Texas. As a Polysomnographer, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.

• Perform polysomnographic studies in a clinical setting, including oxygen and nasal continuous positive airway pressure titrations.
• Score studies and formulate reports for physician interpretation.
• Communicate instructions, results, and relative information to patients, physicians, and family members.
• Calibrate and perform routine and troubleshooting maintenance on equipment, contacting manufacturers for repairs as needed.
• Consult regularly with the Medical Director regarding patient studies.

• Advanced expertise of Polysomnographic Care modalities, therapies, equipment, and medications.
• Ability to read, write, and follow flow chart protocols as appropriate.
• Ability to communicate thoughts clearly; both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work under stressful conditions.
• Ability to maintain and troubleshoot audio and video equipment.
• General computer skills, including but not limited to data entry, information security, electronic medical documentation, handheld scanning, and email.
