Job Summary

J. J. Keller & Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Contract PSM Specialist to join our Environmental Consulting team. As a key member of our team, you will assist clients at OSHA and EPA regulated facilities with managing, coordinating, and implementing all fourteen (14) elements of the Process Safety Management (PSM) standard and the additional requirements of the EPA's Risk Management Plan (RMP) to ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct PSM and RMP compliance audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Proficiently read and understand Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to ensure accurate identification of process hazards.
  • Participate in PSM incident investigations as requested by clients, including root cause failure analysis.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Travel to client facilities as needed to provide on-site support.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of related experience in PSM and RMP compliance.
  • Knowledge of OSHA's PSM and the EPA's RMP regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Dependable and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Formal PSM training and certification.
  • PSM Auditor Certification.
  • Computer proficiency with experience in PSM and RMP software.
Work Environment

Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment with occasional travel to client facilities. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team.
