Job Title: Quality Auditor

At International Automotive Components, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Auditor to join our team. As a Quality Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, promote, and participate in activities to support safety and quality.
  • Perform quality audits of product and processes for compliance to defined standards.
  • Approve 1st piece samples for each job.
  • Provide guidance to production operators in regards to in-process quality inspections, use of inspection fixtures and gages, and other quality-related issues.
  • Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming product.
  • Control input and output from the Hold Cage on their respective shift.
  • Assist in the training of new/transferred associates on their respective shift in regards to Quality topics.
  • Provide guidance to any personnel performing rework or sorting of product on their respective shift.
  • Take a leading role in resolving quality concerns on their respective shift through the use of cross-functional teams.
  • Ongoing communication with the production Supervisors and Team Leaders.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience as a Quality Auditor in an automotive manufacturing is a plus.
  • Must have an understanding of the injection molding process and assembly processes.
  • Must have good analytical skills.
  • Must have good written and verbal communication.
  • Must be skilled in various problem-solving methods including 8D, 5-Why, 5P, etc.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Willingness to work overtime with minimal notice.
  • Basic Knowledge of SPC methodology.
