Job Summary:

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (AL) is seeking a highly skilled Sr Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in the development and production of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement methods and procedures for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection to ensure that products are free of flaws and function as designed.
* Design and install sophisticated testing equipment and perform product testing and analysis to maintain quality levels and minimize defects and failure rates.
* Analyze reports and defective products to determine trends and recommend corrective actions.
* Collaborate with supplier representatives on quality problems, ensure that effective corrective actions are implemented and contribute to supplier quality improvement programs.

Requirements:

* Associate's Degree, Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience.
* 5-7 years experience in a relevant function.
* Strong understanding and working experience on NDT special process Liquid Die Penetrant operations.
* Subject matter knowledge on ASTM E 1417, NAS 410 requirements.
* Certified Level 3 ASNT experts strongly preferred.
