Orthopedic Advanced Practice Provider Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Orthopedic Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Emory Healthcare. As a key member of our orthopedic team, you will work closely with an experienced Orthopedic Joint surgeon to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the operating room 2-3 days per week, providing support to the surgeon and ensuring a smooth surgical experience for patients.
  • Run independent clinic 2 days per week, conducting patient interviews, documenting patient histories, and developing care plans.
  • Perform physical examinations, specialized diagnostic procedures, and cast application and removal, wound suturing, and dressing changes under the direction of a physician.
  • Assist in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body, or Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of orthopedic medicine, with a minimum of 1+ years of experience in an orthopedic setting.
