We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Education Specialist to join our team at The Learning Experience #144. As a key member of our educational staff, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that promote the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of children in our care.



Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing a safe, nurturing environment that fosters learning and development. You will work closely with our experienced teaching staff to create a collaborative and inclusive classroom environment that supports the unique needs of each child.



Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement high-quality lesson plans that align with our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, promoting academic excellence and social-emotional growth in children from infancy to preschool age.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning, creativity, and social interaction.
  • Provide guidance and support to co-teachers, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, sharing progress updates and engaging them in their child's educational journey.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of center-wide initiatives that promote academic excellence, social-emotional growth, and community engagement.


Requirements


  • A minimum of 6 months of professional teaching experience, preferably in early childhood education.
  • An Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and a commitment to providing a safe, nurturing environment that fosters learning and development.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • Meet state-specific guidelines for the role, as required by the state of location.
