We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm/Suppression Service Technician to join our team at Wolverine Fire Protection Co. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing inspection, maintenance, and repair services for life safety systems equipment at a commercial airport property in Tucson, AZ.
Key Responsibilities- Perform fire alarm, detection, and releasing inspections, maintenance, and service repairs.
- Conduct fire suppression inspections, maintenance, and service repairs.
- Inspect emergency lighting systems.
- Conduct fire extinguisher inspections.
- Perform weekly diesel engine runs (10 engines total).
- Coordinate scheduling with the owner's representative for all services that may interfere with daily customer activities.
- Document daily reports of services performed or scheduling discussed.
- Be extremely reliable and self-sufficient.
- Ability to be prompt and courteous when interacting with the owner's representative.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Impeccable attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability.
- Experience with Inspect Point is a plus but not required.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in fire alarm and fire suppression inspection, maintenance, and repair.
- NICET II Certification or higher.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Pass a drug test and background check for airport access badge.
- Valid and clean driver's license with the ability to maintain it.
- Work location: Customer location on-site in Tucson, AZ.
- Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, 1st shift.
- Rare after-hours service calls may be required.
