Machinist / Maintenance Mechanic - Precision Machining and Equipment Maintenance

Heraeus Electro-Nite is seeking a highly skilled Machinist / Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Precision Machining: Engage in precision machining tasks such as shaping, cutting, and fabricating metal parts, utilizing standard turning and plane machines, boring and drilling machines, grinders, horizontal mill, and engine lathe.
- Maintenance and Enhancement: Maintain and enhance production quality by ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment, collaborating with production teams and subcontractors to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance across a variety of systems, including engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and conveyors, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Building Maintenance: Contribute to building maintenance, ensuring the mechanical and electrical systems are up to par, which may involve working on fire detection systems, refrigeration systems, and more.
- Repair Parts Fabrication: Innovate and fabricate repair parts, utilizing standard turning and plane machines, boring and drilling machines, grinders, horizontal mill, and engine lathe.
- Data Management: Record and manage data using our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Proven Experience: Proven experience and knowledge in the Machinist trade, with a minimum of a 2-Year Industrial Maintenance Associate's Degree or equivalent in experience and skill.
- Electrical and PLC Controls: Understanding of electrical and PLC controls, and ability to read and interpret diagrams.
- Mechanical Systems: Deep knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional problem-solving skills and an ability to work both independently and as a part of a dedicated team.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, proficiency in English, and ability to handle various physical demands of the job.
