Key Responsibilities:
As a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist II, you will:
1. Conduct MRI procedures as prescribed by medical professionals, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
2. Utilize hospital and radiology information systems effectively, maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
3. Schedule and manage patient examinations, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking of patient information.
4. Administer intravenous contrast media, monitoring patients for any adverse reactions and ensuring their comfort throughout the procedure.
5. Maintain MRI equipment, performing quality control checks and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
6. Provide clear explanations of procedures to patients, ensuring they are informed and comfortable.
7. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure high-quality imaging results and patient care.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Certification in Intravenous Contrast Administration in New York State
- ARRT Certification/Registration
