Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute tool changeovers, end-of-arm tooling, and initiate process startups.
  • Diagnose root causes of process challenges related to machinery, tools, and parameter configurations.
  • Oversee processes on all injection molding machines to ensure operational stability.
  • Uphold the highest quality standards for our products while fostering ongoing process enhancements across all machinery.
  • Enhance machine efficiency and utilization rates.
  • Investigate customer returns to address process-related concerns.
  • Educate process technicians on the effective use of equipment and process parameters.
  • Instruct setup technicians on optimal equipment and machine settings.
  • Provide training to Process Technicians and Operators regarding customer returns.
  • Collaborate with the Zone Leader on personnel matters as needed.
  • Optimize the setup of injection mold tools and associated equipment.
  • Work closely with Planning to maximize uptime and streamline changeovers.
  • Provide coverage for process technicians during absences.
  • Engage in ongoing 5S activities.
  • Participate in projects assigned by the Technology Manager or Plant Manager.
  • Perform additional duties as required by your supervisor.
  • Possess necessary computer skills.
Qualifications:

Experience:
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a technician, engineering, or process-oriented role within a molding and assembly manufacturing environment.
Education:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of experience in a molding and assembly production setting.
