The VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System is seeking a highly qualified Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Service Chief to lead our team of healthcare professionals and allied staff. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and directing the general radiology, CT scan, Ultrasound, MRI, Interventional radiology, and nuclear medicine operations of the Service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a variety of radiology health care professionals and allied staff, including physicians, technologists, nurses, and administrative staff.
  • Serve as one of the principle clinical advisors to the Chief of Staff for the overall scope of radiology and nuclear medicine care provided.
  • Plan, develop, and direct the general radiology, CT scan, Ultrasound, MRI, Interventional radiology, and nuclear medicine operations of the Service.
  • Provide radiological studies in the inpatient and outpatient clinics, operating rooms, and ICU areas throughout the medical center.
  • Participate in Nuclear Medicine and general medical staff meetings, committee assignments, compliance, and other components of an organized medical staff.
Qualifications
  • MD or DO Degree
  • Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • United States Citizen (Will consider non-citizen if no US citizens)
