Job Summary:

As a Manufacturing Process Engineer at Advantage Technical, you will be responsible for developing, evaluating, and improving industrial manufacturing methods. You will utilize your knowledge of product design, materials, and parts, fabrication processes, tooling, and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards to drive efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and evaluate industrial manufacturing methods to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
  • Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
  • Communicate manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, or other information to facilitate production processes.
  • Confer with vendors to determine specifications of products and arrange equipment, material purchase, and parts.
  • Evaluate products based on specifications and quality standards.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
  • 3+ years of related experience required in a similar type of background.
  • Manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Six Sigma exposure or experience is preferred.
  • Experience conducting investigations (non-conformance), corrective actions, DOE test, OEE improvement projects.
