We are seeking a skilled Pre-Operative Registered Nurse for our Outpatient Services. In this role, you will provide clinical expertise to ensure that all patients receive high-quality, efficient care in a fast-paced environment.
Our team is exceptional, working collaboratively to support one another, and we are looking for a remarkable addition who shares our commitment to meaningful patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of pre-operative patients.
- Educate patients and families on medications and treatment protocols.
- Maintain and review patient records, including posting test results and examination findings.
- Administer medications according to physician directives.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Florida or appropriate compact licensure (active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire if compact license is held).
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
- Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
- Strong critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to comprehend written instructions and follow verbal directives; proficiency in PC skills.
