We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our hospital medicine team at Trinity Health IHA Medical Group in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
About the RoleThe selected candidate will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide inpatient care to IHA Hospital Medicine patients. This includes working with the Michigan Saint Joes unit at SJMAA, which is staffed by Michigan Medicine hospitalists. The provider will operate within the standards of care and scope of practice as defined by the State of Michigan.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide medical services, including direct patient care, medical record documentation, and follow-up care.
- Operate within the standards of care and scope of practice as defined by the State of Michigan.
- Collaborate with the physician overseeing the 26 inpatient bed unit, MSJ, to triage and accept patients to the unit, admit patients, and provide cross-coverage responsibilities.
- Successful completion of an accredited NP/PA program.
- NP/PA Certification.
- State of Michigan License.
