Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and ensure their safety and well-being.
- Monitor and report any concerns regarding environmental and campus safety.
- Conduct thorough searches of living quarters and personal belongings to ensure compliance with our policies and procedures.
- Support clinical staff and maintain client contact, providing emotional support and de-escalation as needed.
- Facilitate the treatment milieu and motivate clients towards a life of recovery and abstinence from substance addiction.
- Communicate pertinent clinical information to the treatment team and complete shift duties as assigned.
- Interact with clients and families in an advocacy and informative role, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
- High School Degree or equivalent and/or Certified Nursing Assistant, or Some College.
- 0-2 years of chemical dependency/mental health technician experience and/or experience/education in crisis stabilization, chemical dependency, and/or mental illness.
- Strong communication skills in both oral and written formats.
- Must be flexible and customer service oriented.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
