About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Presidio. As a key member of our presales team, you will be responsible for leading the discovery, analysis, and design of cloud solutions that meet our customers' business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: Proactively drive discovery and understanding of customer IT current state, goals, outcomes, and initiatives across business, technical, operational, and financial facets.
  • Technical Opportunity Leadership: Identify customer stakeholders and their individual success criteria and needs. Create and lead technical solution approaches and next steps aligned to customer stakeholders.
  • Solution Architecture and Design: Analyze and assess client requirements and determine target architecture and design solutions (HW, SW, Licensing, Cloud services, Managed Services, Delivery Services, etc) and roadmaps.
  • Technical Excellence and Evangelism: Maintain a high level of technical excellence and evangelism across multiple relevant solution architecture and product areas.
  • Account Leadership: Participate in client account-related activities that establish the Solution Architect as a trusted advisor internally and with customers.
  • Team Engagement and Enable Culture: Engage Presidio team members and contribute to driving an open, positive, inclusive, resilient, change-oriented team culture.
Requirements
  • Experience in a consulting role
  • Understanding and knowledge of AWS Migration framework (MAP) and AWS funding options and process
  • Previous hands-on experience of migrating workloads to AWS
  • Understanding and knowledge of Cloud adoption models and approaches
  • Expert-level knowledge and experience with design, implementation, and support of one or more of the following: Cloud Management Platforms, SDDC & Virtualization, Data Protection Platforms, Container platforms, Infrastructure as Code Tools
  • Demonstrated comfort leading presentations, solution demonstrations, and whiteboard sessions
  • Drive for trying new ideas and actively seek mentoring and coaching
Desired Skills
  • Knowledge and experience with design, implementation, and/or support of one or more of the following: Network Route & Switch, Security, Compliance & Governance frameworks and tools, CI/CD pipelines and tools, Agile practices and frameworks
  • Cloud platform certifications: Cloud Solution Architect with AWS
  • Presales experience with a strong bias for action
  • Program management or project management experience
  • Experience driving complex multi-discipline IT projects
  • Experience and/or ability to prepare RFP/RFI response, proposals, and solutions
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
  • + years of working experience in systems engineering or solution architecture
  • + years of experience with AWS
