Senior Laboratory Engineer/Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Laboratory Engineer/Scientist to join our team at Protingent. This is a direct hire opportunity for a talented professional to work with our client located in Oakdale, MN.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
- Design and execute experiments in protein analysis, conjugation, separation, and quantitation.
- Develop and optimize assay reagent formulations and assay conditions.
- Operate and maintain immunoassay analyzers.
- Analyze and interpret statistical data from test results.
- Identify and resolve instrumentation issues.
- Ph.D. or MS in Biochemistry, Medical Laboratory Technology, Biotechnology, Analytical Chemistry, Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or related field with laboratory experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in a laboratory setting.
- Previous experience in assay development or clinical laboratory is preferred.
- Post-doc training in clinical chemistry and laboratory operation is a plus.
- Experience with immunoassay formulation optimization is highly recommended.
- Research publications are considered a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in laboratory equipment setup, operation, and maintenance.
- Ability to perform data analysis using statistical tools.
- Effective communication and literature searching skills.
- Self-motivated and independent work abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Occasional lifting of reagents weighing 2lb.
