Job Title: Senior Laboratory Engineer/Scientist Job Overview: Protingent Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Senior Laboratory Engineer/Scientist to join our client's team in Oakdale, MN. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct experiments in protein analysis, conjugation, separation, and quantitation • Optimize assay reagent formulations and assay conditions • Run immunoassays on automated analyzers • Perform statistical data analysis for test results • Troubleshoot and resolve instrumentation issues Requirements: • Ph.D. or MS in Biochemistry, Medical Laboratory Technology, Biotechnology, or related field • 5+ years of experience in laboratory settings • Previous experience in assay development or clinical laboratory is preferred • Post-doc training in clinical chemistry and clinical laboratory operation is a plus Skills and Abilities: • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Proficiency in laboratory equipment setup, operation, and maintenance • Capability of performing data analysis with statistical tools • Effective oral and written communication skills in English Physical Demands: • Occasional lifting of reagents weighing 2lb Job Details: • Direct Hire • Pay Range: 80K-90K annually • Location: Oakdale, MN
