Job Summary
Western Technical College is seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach in the Fire Science program. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, assessing student learning, and maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach fire science courses, including fire behavior, fire suppression, and emergency medical services
  • Develop and implement lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations to measure student learning
  • Provide individualized instruction and support to students
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and grades
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to program development

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Fire Science or a related field
  • Teaching experience in fire science or a related field
  • Current NFPA 1001 Standard Firefighter II certification
  • WTCS Fire Instructor I Certification
