Job Summary
Western Technical College is seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach law enforcement courses. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, assessing student learning, and promoting social justice within the division and the larger academic institution.

Key Responsibilities

As an Adjunct Instructor, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and delivering instructional design activities
  • Delivering courses in multiple modes of delivery, including face-to-face, online, and hybrid/blended formats
  • Assessing student progress and conducting student evaluations
  • Providing input and maintaining division accreditation and student records
  • Integrating the college's SuccessAbilities and program outcomes

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A high school diploma
  • Three years (or 6000 hours) of certified occupational experience as a jail officer

Preferred qualifications include:

  • An associate degree
  • A bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or a related field
  • A master's degree
  • Teaching experience
  • Online teaching experience and/or experience with online learning platforms
