About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our team at Apex Fintech Solutions. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in solving complex problems and answering questions related to existing system behavior and system enhancements/fixes.

As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining system specification documents, test plans, and test artifacts. You will work closely with our product owners, other analysts, and developers to resolve complex system issues and provide leadership by ensuring our product(s) and support teams are exceeding expectations for all internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze user stories, technical design, and business logic
  • Participate in story estimations and collaborate on approach ideation
  • Participate in system implementation projects (e.g., requirements documentation, system configuration, test documentation or execution, issue identification, and resolution)
  • Oversee functional test plans and acceptance criteria
  • Help sprint teams work more efficiently when battling large system processes or leveraging our homegrown suites
  • Execute and analyze core system functional tests
  • Perform analysis and document data mappings for external system integrations
  • Analyze, triage, and help answer escalated UAT and production issues and questions
  • Assist with internal training and release elevation
Requirements
  • Requires a bachelor's degree in Information System, Computer Science, engineering or business related fields
  • 5+ years of experience as a business systems, product, technical, or data analyst
  • 5+ years of software system development experience, with primary focus in cloud technologies (preferably AWS)
  • 5+ years of experience working in an agile team; familiar with JIRA and regular sprint cycles
  • Experience with SQL, Linux, data comparison and analysis, and API documentation tools
  • Fintech/tax accounting background is a plus
