Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Providers with Patient Exams
    • Prepare exam rooms for procedures, maintain accurate log books, and monitor pharmaceutical sample cabinets.
  • Maintain Patient Medical Records
    • Verify patient information, file and scan documents, and provide new patients with registration forms.
  • Aid in Patient Care
    • Notify patients of test results, return phone calls, schedule appointments, and collect clinical information.
  • Perform Clinical Duties
    • Obtain vital signs, collect and process specimens, and perform phlebotomy skills as trained.
  • Maintain Exam Rooms
    • Clean and stock rooms, order supplies, and prepare non-disposable instruments for sterilization.
  • Assist with Billing
    • Collect and post payments, balance cash drawers, and prepare superbills.
Requirements
  • Education
    • High School diploma or equivalent, or 10 years of work experience.
  • Experience
    • One year of experience in a medical office setting.
  • Physical Requirements
    • Constant standing and walking, frequent use of hearing and speech, and occasional lifting and bending.
