Job Summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Nephrology Team in College Station, Texas. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patients' physical and mental conditions through comprehensive physical examinations and medical histories.
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests to inform patient care decisions.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans based on patient assessments, evidence-based medicine, and professional practice guidelines.
  • Counsel patients and families on medical processes, health promotion, and disease management.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians, agencies, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Texas.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with most work taking place in dialysis facilities and some clinic visits.
