Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Special Procedures Technician to join our team at MountainView Hospital. As a Special Procedures Technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and performing radiographic and related procedures to demonstrate vascular structures for interpretation and/or therapeutic intervention.

Responsibilities
  • Provide health care services applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment
  • Perform radiographic and related procedures to demonstrate vascular structures for interpretation and/or therapeutic intervention by or at the request of a licensed practitioner
  • Exercise professional judgment in-service performance and maintain a demeanor that reflects a high standard of medical ethics
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate from an accredited Radiology school
  • Registry eligible with A.R.R.T. and/or R.C.I.S. within six (6) months become registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and/or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (R.C.I.S.)
  • Limited State of N.V. Fluoroscopy License and maintained
  • Current B.L.S
  • Required to maintain A.R.R.T and/or R.C.I.S. registry
  • Minimum two years' experience as a Radiographer
