Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Synchrony Health Services. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists with measuring, mixing, and labeling medications according to prescription orders.
  • Prepack medications for the floor, fill bottles with prescribed medications, and affix labels.
  • Maintain proper storage and security conditions for medications.
  • Order, label, and count stock of medications, chemicals, or supplies.
  • Receive and store incoming supplies, verify quantities against invoices, and check for outdated medications in current inventory.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.
  • Meet Expectations of Excellence for the position.
  • Support location, departmental goals, and the overall objectives of the Company.
  • Comply with all laws, regulations, and standards of ethical conduct.
  • Responsible for uncompromising levels of cleanliness and safety.
  • Lead by Example (LBE), uphold and promote the culture, mission, and values of the Company.
  • Perform all job duties with a friendly, positive, and team-oriented approach.
  • Maintain professional/technical competencies and proficiencies for job responsibilities.
  • Comply with all Company policies, procedures, rules, and standards.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Pharmacy Technician certification as required by State regulatory requirements.
  • One year of pharmacy technician experience preferred, but not required.
  • Exemplary computer skills that include knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
Physical Requirements

Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates.
