Key Responsibilities
Accountable for ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality inspections.
Primary Duties
- Conduct regular inspections, testing, maintenance, and installation of life safety systems, including various competitive products.
- Acquire skills to finalize Service Acknowledgements with accurate coding via communication devices, such as laptops and mobile phones.
- Adhere to a meticulously organized inspection timetable.
- Utilize technology to input, retrieve, and archive inspection records through laptops or mobile devices.
- Perform minor repairs under direct authorized supervision.
- Complete designated inspections punctually.
- Execute additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
3-5 years of documented experience in sprinkler systems is preferred.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and operational manuals.
Familiarity with hand tools.
Experience with wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam systems.
Demonstrates troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform necessary repairs.
Capable of physical labor, including lifting and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 50-70 lbs.
Able to work in various challenging positions, such as climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts, nights, and weekends to fulfill customer needs.
Exhibits a strong commitment to customer service.
Ability to follow and implement safety protocols consistently.
Possesses strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and a quick learning ability.
Required Certification
Must possess one of the following:
- NICET III Inspection and Testing Water-Based Systems
- NFPA Water-Based Inspection, Testing and Maintenance
- ASSE I50I0 Water-Based Protection Systems
- Completion of a DOL approved Sprinkler Fitter Apprenticeship Program
