We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Neuro Telemetry team at Methodist Hospital. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with complex neurological conditions.
Responsibilities- Deliver evidence-based care to patients, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Assist with procedures, monitoring, and other functions as directed by the RN or physician.
- Perform lab and procedural tests within the LPN scope of practice, after demonstrating competency.
- Document patient care in the medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Serve as a resource to department staff, students, and volunteers to ensure quality patient care.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Associate Degree or Vocational School Graduate.
- Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) or Graduate LPN/LVN.
