Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of the patient care team, responsible for delivering safe and effective nursing care to patients. As a Registered Nurse - Neuro Surgical, you will:

  • Apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership to deliver safe and effective nursing care
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes
  • Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities
  • Demonstrate team work, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team
  • Have accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and promoting a positive image of nursing

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • American Red Cross Basic Life Support certification
  • Registered Nurse, Texas Registered Nurse License
  • Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
